I am a recitalist with a keen sense for dramatic programming. My multi-lingual background allows me to explore the treasure trove of European artsong in some depth, and my recitals will always range across the German, French, English, Italian and Spanish repertoire - with the odd comedy Broadway number thrown in for mischief.

Themed recitals are a specialty of mine. They are designed for small to medium-sized venues and in the case of 'Seascape' work in collaboration with a speaker. I fit the choice of music to the theme, and that allows me to bring together very different styles and periods in one programme. It's interesting to connect music explicitly to another specific sphere of our lives - it gives the music a new context and it connects that outside sphere back to music. It makes for a rich experience - both for the audience and us performers. To view two such programmes, visit Seascape and Sea Fever.

The oratorios in my repertoire include:

Vivaldi Gloria

all of J.S Bach's major works plus cantatas nos 22, 33, 35, 46, 102, 137, 148, 169, 170
