I am a musician, an artist and the founder/director of WAM - the Festival of Weather Arts and Music.
I trained to be a classical mezzo-soprano and have been working as a performer and a teacher for many years. I am a co-founder of the Salon Without Boundaries, a new platform celebrating creative work by women past and present.
I'm also a practising artist, working in mixed media, wood, oils, mask making and lately printmaking. I'm a member of the Double Elephant Print Workshop in Exeter.
And I'm the Founder/Director of WAM, the Festival of Weather Arts and Music. WAM is an experiment in collective and cross-disciplinary collaboration, where art practitioners of all stripes - musicians, visual artists, poets and writers - come together with scientists working in the field of meteorology and climate science to explore new ways of talking about weather and climate change.
